Specialty Series
Once you’ve taken the 2-Day Speaking Intensive or the equivalent in 1:1 Coaching, you are eligible to take the following specialty classes.

The Coordination System
Presence, Sentences and Expression
Speaking is a skill that follows the same rules as every other skill in that it comprises three parts: the Coordination System, the Inner World, and Game Time.
The Coordination system consists of Presence (Straight Lines and tone), Sentences (learn the neurological coordination system of speaking), and Expression (Voice, Face, and Gesture) to deliver content to your listener's mind. Each of these courses is a deep dive into these key elements.
We all have a habitual response to the unknown. These patterned responses discourage or encourage connection. Learn how to connect even when you are nervous and be your best, connected self under pressure.
In the 2 Day intensive, you may discover you aren't breathing properly to power the voice or enhance your presence. This is your chance to give focused attention on the breath and transform.
We learn speaking by imitation, so you might not even know how to project your sound, speak on the exhale, or have a warm tone. I want you to love your sound and use it to its full extent.
Even when you invest two days of your life to the speaking intensive, re-aligning your speaking habit with your brain design requires intentional practice. Join the weekly tune-up and practice with others as you would take tennis lessons or go to the gym. When you hit the period, zip, and watch, you are neurologically looping with your listener. You want to do this every time you speak; if you practice with intention, this will become your new habit.
The Inner World
Vision-Directed Thinking and Behaviors
World-class athletes and performers know the value of their inner world. You can be the best skier in the world, but if your inner world falls apart under pressure, you won't be able to deliver. Our thinking can either support or diminish our connection to others. Take the time to align your thinking with your desire to connect.
For over 20 years, I have partnered with the best leadership development companies to develop experiential curriculum that takes traditional models and puts them into practice. Take a deep dive into the following:
Challenge your habitual response under pressure
Shift from Fear-Driven to Vision- Directed
Turn a complaint into a request, and engage others to see the bigger picture
Practice having difficult conversations that will lead to powerful results
“Prepare yourself for the unexpected when the challenges you face depend not only on what you know also on how you think.”
Schedule 1:1 sessions to explore specific challenges that you currently face. This can be after or in place of the Vision Directed course.
Improv skills are life skills. Sessions
may include:
Unlocking Creativity:
Express your ideas without self-judgment
Engage in collaborative, creative problem-solving
Flexibility in Thinking & Response:
Learn to let go and see possibility in reality
Maintain focus and bounce back from unpredictable outcomes
Risk-Taking:
Get out of your comfort zone and practice thinking on your feet
Fail faster, “fail forward,” and build towards a growth mindset

Game Time
Content Creation & Memorize Without Memorizing
The third part of every skill is game time. For speakers, game time is when you have specific content you must deliver and want to do it to the best of your ability.
These content creation models supported brain-based speaking and putting your listener's needs over your own. In addition, many speakers have anxiety around recall, and there is a way to remember what you want to say with ease.
Before you develop your talk, you need to understand not only your end goal but also where your listener's mind is starting. Take a deep dive and develop a talk (with slides if needed) that moves your listeners to where you want them to be by the end. Each thoughtful moment is an act of respect for your listener's time and attention.
Learn a story structure that perfectly aligns with your listener's brain. Use your words to create a movie in your listener's mind so they not only remember what you say but also understand your point deeply.
Practice improv elements that capture compelling storytelling off the cuff.
Create a story that is visual, emotional, and impactful.
Absorb written content the way your brain is designed to recall - which might not be by traditional memorization methods.
Your brain is designed to prompt, stimulate, or generate the next sentence that comes out of your mouth. Explore learning how your brain learns so that you can relax and connect each time you speak.
